The name of the shop "Katawanga" comes from the name of a tiny deserted island off the coast of Venua Levu, Fiji where I volunteered for a month. The people of Fiji are beautiful and kind. Living and working with them was a stunning opportunity.
Thanks for stopping by the shop!
My husband and I are originally from the States, but have transferred to New Zealand. We operate a small hospitality house for missionaries and support social justice + earthquake recovery efforts in the city.
Prices are set a little higher than average because this shop serves as a fundraising effort for our work here in New Zealand—we are volunteer based and receive no income. Thank you for pouring into our lives by supporting my work!
