About

In 2006, I was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia on Bone-Marrow Failure. After going through a clinical trial and numerous blood transfusions, my doctors said that a bone-marrow transplant (BMT) is my only way to get cured - to live. In the Fall of 2013, I decided to get treated at Johns Hopkins, Baltimore.

On New Year's Day, January 1st, 2014, I was admitted at the hospital and began my journey to healing. I went through ATG, chemo and full-body radiation. On January 11, I finally received my donor's bone marrow. I am currently recovering and fighting a mild skin graft-vs-host disease.

When I'm not crafting, you can find me blogging, taking photographs and spending time with the people I love.

I am in-loved with Hawaii, and I am crazy about travel and chocolates.

My journey with Aplastic Anemia has taught me that I should be thankful of every single day I am here, and I hope to inspire other people who are going through the toughest times in their lives. Let's all be vessels of great inspiration.
