Kerri Corsano's Profile

About

I have so much fun making practical items extraordinary; making ugly furniture funky and whimsical; creating everyday textiles that have the potential to become treasured family heirlooms. I incorporate my interests into each individual piece as appropriate. Most of my pieces are inspired by utilitarian purposes, and I think it's important to be surrounded by things in your home that represent your personality and individuality.

Hobb Knob Jewelry Organizers have, for now, become my signature product. They were developed because I needed a way to hang my necklaces up and couldn't find any solutions that were interesting to me, so I made my own. They have become a favorite at many local shops in my community and thanks to Etsy, all around the United States.

Indigo Artistry Design has become a hodge-podge of everything I enjoy making. I am not one to be pigeon-holed into one craft....I love it all. This may be obvious from my lack of focus in what I choose to create...be it cedar bird houses, quilts, painted furniture or funky household items. Since I am the boss, I will continue to do it my way as long as people appreciate what I do.

Quilting became my passion when I decided to learn the craft due to my determination to quilt my children's baby clothes into something they could take off to college with them. I have been quilting now for 15 years and the time has come for my oldest daughter to head to college...her baby clothes quilt is ready to go. While I still have 2 more baby clothes quilts to make, I continue to quilt because I truly love it. There is always something new and interesting to discover and learn.

Etsy gives me an opportunity to sell outside of my community, products that I feel are pretty, useful and inspiring. I hope you agree. Thank you for stopping by my shop.
