Thank you for your interest in my work! First, I would like to tell you a little about my background. I am a graduate from Samford University. I have a B.A. degree in theatre with a concentration in costume design. Upon graduation, I worked in New York at a children's performing arts training center called Stagedoor Manor as a costume designer. After which, I went on to work in Martin Isqueirdo's studio in New York City as a costume construction intern. I've designed productions ranging from Shakespeare's Richard III to musicals such as 42nd Street, and my work is heavily influence by vintage fashion. However, I've found that what I enjoyed most about design is adding a unique and detailed accessory piece to an outfit that completes it to perfection. I am an avid believer in artistic and original fashion, but I am also an believer in wearable fashion that one could wear with everything, everyday. Each piece is unique, and I mostly work with recycled fabrics and a collection of vintage buttons which does not allow me to reproduce exact replicas. The different construction styles of hair accessories include twisted rosettes, yoyo rosettes, and recycled, collaged fiber art textile. These different styles can be arranged in an endless amount of ways and embellished with a variety of buttons, beading, feathers, and fabric pleating. The leather wrap bracelets are made with genuine leather ranging in colors from black, dark brown, light brown, gold, denim blue, and hot pink. I usually inform my customers that all of my accessories can be worn with jeans or a little black dress, and that is what makes their purchase worthy. It is a wardrobe investment!
