I painted my first jewelry box a few years ago, because I thought it would look cool on my dresser and offer some streamlined storage. Then, instead of keeping it for myself, I opened an Etsy shop and sold it. Since then, I have expanded my design platform to offer jewelry boxes that have been entirely refurbished = inside and out. I also like to refurbish other household items at times, so you may find a mix of items in my shop.
These vintage boxes are horrible when I get them, they are ugly and generally in shambles. They get completely ripped apart to bare bones, and slowly brought back to life - piece by colorful piece. My attention to detail is borderline annoying. I painstakingly pick fabrics and exterior colors that match perfectly.
