Hi! Thanks for checking out my shop! I hope the vibrant colors make you happy. I like to be surrounded by them as I work. I learned how to sew from my mom. She is an artist so I also learned to paint, sculpt, sketch, carve, glaze, fire, print, and more. The most valuable thing I learned from both my parents is, "If you want it (and in most cases, cannot buy it), make it....if you don't know how to make it, figure it out". My father taught himself how to build wood canoes when I was a teenager. I can still picture the canoe skeleton and the smell of glue in the barn/shop. Once he mastered that, he moved onto making electric guitars, and then onto something else and so on. Maybe when my kids are grown, they will recall the whir of my sewing machine and different color threads all over my clothes.
