I've always been fascinated by natural crystals and minerals, and I have a nice little collection of natural specimens. My favorites include a Quartz point covered in awesome Mandarin Garnets, a bunch of different colorful Tourmalines, and daylight fluorescent Fluorite from England, plus oh so many more (I put pictures in my facebook and my flickr if you're curious to see them). Eventually my addiction... er, I mean passion... for collecting crystals morphed into making jewelry, mostly because it's a great way to justify my urges to hunt and collect and play with stones all the time (ie: to indulge my inner Gollum).

My jewelry workshop is a tiny extra room in my apartment here on the western base of the Green Mountains in Vermont. I did a lot of traveling around the country in my 20's and as soon as I found Vermont I decided I needed to come back for good. It's really so beautiful here... sparsely populated, unhurried, and each season is very special in its own way, and it really does smell like pine trees when you drive through at night with the windows down. Usually in the warmer months I'm trying to explore as many little craft fairs and farmers markets as I can find, and then in the colder months I'm usually deep in a book either at home or at a cafe, or perched near to a window to watch the snowflakes fall without actually going outside (hello, -30 degrees!) and of course I'm always hunting for new stones and having fun playing with them.

Thank you so very much for browsing my shop and if you have any questions or would like something made special for you please let me know. It costs nothing to ask! :) ~kerri
