I have made patchwork potholders--seems like forever. Since they are made using quilt patterns, almost each one is one-of-a-kind.


You may notice imperfections that are normal with hand work--this is the charm of things made by a person and not in a factory...

Before Etsy, I have had my own store, a shop in a craft mall, belonged to a craft co-op, wholesaled, retailed, taught, sold at flea markets and marketed crafts. Then, as now, I do a lot of talking about crafts, especially quilts, patchwork, fabric, textile history and vintage textiles.

Before Etsy, I have had my own store, a shop in a craft mall, belonged to a craft co-op, wholesaled, retailed, taught, sold at flea markets and marketed crafts. Then, as now, I do a lot of talking about crafts, especially quilts, patchwork, fabric, textile history and vintage textiles.

In addition to rearing 4 lovely children and being an Air Force wife, I have been Altar Guild member, worked for US Air Force and Army (in Finance and Personnel) and Census Bureau.

The beauty of handcrafts is that they are make by real people....I have sweet memories of the sweet, real people I have met.
