About

I credit my creativity to an amazing God who is wildly creative and infinitely generous with His gifts.
I have sewnsince I was in 5th grade~my inspiration being my two older sisters. They often gave me a home sewn item which quickly became a wardrobe favorite. I aspired to be like them! My first project was a pair of pjs with purple and green turtles. I've sewn thousands of hours since then and still love kitchy fabrics and unique items.
I love sewing and creating with "treasures" found at tag sales and thrift stores. A recent find was on our vacation to Arizona ~vintage polyester (is there really such a thing??) in bright orange, red, and teal!
I have 3 children and homeschool 2~the oldest is off to college. Sewing time is squeezed in between all the activities. My best friend is my husband who is extremely supportive of a hobby he can't even begin to comprehend.
