About

Hi! My name is Sarah and I make bowls...knitting bowls to be exact! I love the functionality of these pieces and I love that they are useable art made for making other works of art. It's a great continuum that I am happy to be a part of. My mom has been an avid knitter since her childhood in London. When I began potting, Mom said "Sarah, why don't you..." and the rest is unfolding here. I love creating in tandem with my mom, she gives me feedback, ideas, and is my biggest support.

For me, working in ceramics is about healing. I have found it extremely grounding to work in earth, water, and fire. It's because of pottery that I'm back out running, surfing, kiteboarding, and being with my loved ones, yet all with a new appreciation that I can take back to the studio.

For me, working in ceramics is about healing. I have found it extremely grounding to work in earth, water, and fire. It's because of pottery that I'm back out running, surfing, kiteboarding, and being with my loved ones, yet all with a new appreciation that I can take back to the studio.

Beside knitting bowls, I also enjoy sculpting, mostly women and mermaids. I find them incredibly serene, both to create and to enjoy as finished pieces. You'll probably see some of these pieces in the store in the future, but for right now I am working them as custom orders only. Also, we'll be hosting guest artisans working in pottery as well as handspun fibers. That's something to look forward to as this project develops.

Please feel free to convo me if you have any questions about anything.

Love and light,
Sarah
