When I was sixteen years old, my mom handed me a tiny crochet hook and a skein of DMC floss. She showed me the single crochet stitch and in the intervening 25 years I've never stopped.
True miniature crochet is such a lost art. It takes patience and diligence, and most of all time. I am enchanted with the ability to create pieces that seem made by a creature tiny enough to sit at the dollhouse kitchen table.
And every time I sit down to push and pull the crochet hook in and out I'm sixteen again, sitting with my much-missed mother, learning it all for the first time.
Please keep checking my Etsy shop - I'm always creating new miniature goodies.
