About

I am a poet, college professor, and collector of all things weird and wonderful. I've lived in Connecticut, Massachusetts, upstate New York, Nebraska, and now Washington State. About

I am a poet, college professor, and collector of all things weird and wonderful. I've lived in Connecticut, Massachusetts, upstate New York, Nebraska, and now Washington State. In each state I've enjoyed the pleasure of conversation with all kinds of people as I've roamed for treasures and collected history.

My passion for collecting blossomed when I met a friend in graduate school who had the most eclectic apartment. She inspired me to buy my first Fiestaware dish at a junk shop in Cambridge, MA in 1988, and I have never looked back.

The seed, however, had been planted years before when my mother toted my sibliings and I along while she looked for an elusive pitcher and bowl in shops across Connecticut on summer days. Therefore, I'm attracted to the element of surprise. I love the possibility of what's behind a shop's door, on the next table, at the next garage sale, or even at the click of a mouse.

If you purchase something from me, I'm likely to share a story or two with you, and I hope you'll feel free to do the same. I find that Etsy is an opportunity for the best of our humanity to flourish, and I truly appreciate the goodwill I've experienced so far on this site.

I look forward to meeting you, and thanks for checking in!
