Kattie Rose's Profile

About

My name is Kattie, I’m 21 years old and in the jewelry design business. All my stuff is inspired by cutest things in life and Japanese street fashions (Fairy kei, sweet Lolita, decora, spooky cute , and more!).

I personally like to dress in so many different fashions it's hard to keep up! I always joke and say I have my creepy and cute side! One day I'll be wearing all pink and the next all black. I even have bats tattooed behind one ear and plan to get candy behind the other to represent this! I love cats if you can't tell by my brand name! I have 4 cats myself and one Pom who thinks she's a cat. I'm a huge gamer geek! Any spare time I get I love to spend it playing video games. I also help run local J Fashion groups and Lolita events at anime cons here in Albuquerque!

I started to create my own accessories when I was in junior high to match my crazy fashio choices. I started with tutus and turning random items into hair accessories. Fast forward a year and I ended up getting sick and no longer could attend school so I became homeschooled. This led to me turning to crafting as a creative outlet. An escape really. I had some patchs and a gromet machines and from there my first real necklace was born. Making patches into necklaces. I took them to a local shop and the owner loved them and stocked them in her shop. After a year of selling with her she told me about the website Etsy and the rest is history from there.

I had a rocky start online it took almost a year for me to take off but boy when I did I started to break off into so many mediums! At first it was clay than silicon and finally I found my true passion resin!

Ultimately I have the most amazing job doing what I really love! And I'm so happy to have so many people around me who helped encourage me to do what I do today!
