While I've had an interest in photography for most of my life, I didn't actually take it seriously until I thought it would support my freelance writing career. It didn't take me long to discover that I preferred photography, particularly because of the power image has over me.

A decade later, my understanding of the craft of photography has changed, but my love for capturing the significance of simple beauty has remained the same.

My work has appeared in newspapers, on internet news sites as well as art and design blogs and in galleries in New York, Las Vegas and Atlanta. Also, my fine art series "Smoke" has been accepted by the curators of the Art in Embassies Program and is awaiting assignment. I am a member of POE - Photographers of Etsy.
