About

Welcome to The Painted Antler. I paint authentic naturally-shed Texas whitetail deer antlers that we have found on our ranch in West Texas. They are 100% cruelty-free - whitetail deer "shed" their antlers every spring. Their antlers literally fall off their heads and they grow and whole new set every year. The antlers get bigger as the deer get older.

I would describe my style as classic, clean, modern traditional and never without a touch of the unexpected - a pop of color, an interesting piece of art, or a bold pattern in a beige room. I also feel that every room should incorporate at least one element of nature – I’ve decided to combine the natural element with the “pop” with painted antlers.

I live in Austin with my husband and three young children. Our family spends a lot of time at our ranch. We put on our boots to scour the landscape for sheds - a true Texas treasure hunt! I’ve included pictures from some of our most successful missions and the painted antlers as a kind of before & after on my blog at www.thepaintedantler.blogspot.com.

I hope you enjoy my painted antlers. A ranch treasure brought to the city for a makeover.

BRING A LITTLE "ANTLER CHIC" TO YOUR HOME!

FEEL FREE TO PIN MY ANTLERS TO YOUR PINTREST BOARDS! I WOULD LOVE IT!

Thanks for visiting!

All the best,
Katherine
