About

I have a long background in dance, martial arts and movement, and so to me, the most fascinating aspect of jewelry or apparel is the way it interacts with the human form. When creating a new piece I ask myself, how will it look to someone gazing at the wearer from an angle? How will it move when she moves? How does it relate to the natural lines of her face, neck, collarbone, torso?

My models are all contemporary dancers. I think people are more beautiful in motion.

I am making my tentative first steps in larger object design, learning to work wood and metal.

I'm on instagram @gittitsz where I share some snapshots of my work process and life around. If you'd like to share a pic of you wearing one of my pieces, big hug to you, and please do hashtag #knobblystudio.
