Hello! My name is Tiffany Krizo, owner and designer of Knotty & Nyce. I have been tying intricate knots for about 12 years now. I spend a lot of time studying vintage macrame texts, modern micro-macrame, Cavandoli knotting, Japanese Kumihimo braiding, and continue to experiment to create fun, interesting, and captivating pieces.
Knotting is a very meditative thing. Trying new designs, knot combinations, new cords, and patterns for multitudes of beautiful beads challenges my creative side and gives me exciting new projects to work on.
My favorite part about designing jewelry would have to be getting new beads and collecting stone cabochons. Looking at new pieces and seeing new pieces of art while looking is truly fun.
