When I was in second grade, my maternal grandmother died. My mother was the only daughter in her family; she had three older brothers. As such, she inherited my grandmother's craft supplies.
As I grew older, I realized that every memory I had of my grandmother involved her knotting. She had very plump dimpled hands, but they were always so nimble and busy.
So, I decided one day to pick up her knotting supplies and learn to knot. And here we are now. She tended towards large decorative items, but I prefer to make jewelry and accessories, although I am beginning to branch out into more decorative items.
Why am I called Knotty Sheep? Well, obviously, I like to knot (and be knotty, I'm told). Also, both my Chinese and western zodiac signs are sheep - I'm an Aries born in the year…
