I love making things and have for many years. I spend most evenings and weekends in my shop studio where I can putter around with my vintage leaves and flowers, plastic cake toppers, Japanese animal eyes, pipe cleaners, vintage chenille, flocked bunnies, glittery flower stamens, sequins, pom poms, feathered birds, doll parts, plastic monkey feet and all sorts of close out craft stock.

I consider many of my crafts "city folkart", because they are somewhere between art and craft. I love traditional craft materials (especially hard-to-find vintage items), but like using them in quirky ways.

I love making things and have for many years. I spend most evenings and weekends in my shop studio where I can putter around with my vintage leaves and flowers, plastic cake toppers, Japanese animal eyes, pipe cleaners, vintage chenille, flocked bunnies, glittery flower stamens, sequins, pom poms, feathered birds, doll parts, plastic monkey feet and all sorts of close out craft stock.

The last few years I've seen some venerated family-owned craft supply businesses close, and this has made me want to collect and preserve some of the beautiful and well-made materials that we may never find again, either in the form of the crafts that I make or by making the supplies available to others for their projects
