I love to shop, always have. I live in the country with my husband and 6 children in the house of my dreams. I love all kinds of art, especially quilting, oil paintings, ceramics, and really anything that catches my eye. We are planning on adding on to our home this summer or fall, and I am constantly searching Etsy for items for my new Master Bedroom, bathroom, and great room. I love to shop on Etsy, because the handmade part of the process is what lures me here. Both of my grandmother's quilted, and I know the time and love it takes to create art. I appreciate most all of the art I see, even if it's not for me. We are a very devoted and religious family (strong Catholic faith) and I have found some awesomely beautiful rosaries on Etsy. I am a nurse, RN, BSN by trade, but have been a stay at home mom for the past 7 years. I do miss nursing (it's what I was born to do), but love being with my family more. My family and my faith are my life, and I like to find treasures that reflect those aspects of my life. I used to craft when I was a child, and still love to make wreaths, but somehow just don't find the time needed. I get lonely when the kids are at school, and come to the Etsy forums to keep me company. I almost always learn something new, and find many great shops through the forums.
