About

As a kid Kristen spent a lot of time at her parent's craft shows throughout Vermont and New England making friendship bracelets and sewing a million stuffed cats with embroidered faces. For her illustrations Kristen uses a variety of materials including watercolor, pen and ink, brush markers and colored pencil. Nature, specifically relating to trees and birds, has always been an inspiration to her. Along with influence drawn from the Earth there are elements of social justice and strong positive messages in many of her pieces. Kristen is currently working on an illustrated book featuring original drawings of whimsical 'kid quotes' from her many experiences with children.
