Helen Krummenacker's Profile

About

I'm a native Californian. I have always enjoyed making things, but with health problems, I found that making jewelry and art helped keep me busy and my spirits up. I am always trying new things.
My fine art has won prizes in local competitions, including juried shows. I've never competed with craft items, but after I started selling things through my livejournal, I learned about etsy and knew it was the place I needed to set up shop!
I am self-taught. The interests that inspire me include nature, cultures, fantasy, science fiction, and mysticism. Besides arts and crafts, I am back at college working on a mathematics major with emphasis on secondary education.
My husband, Allan, is also an artist and I have a section for his work.

I also do custom orders; I made sets of jewelry for attendants' presents for a wedding, bringing together the palette of the different dresses, and have done specialized art requests for people.

My mother is also an etsy seller: see her work at http://Carolineart.etsy.com

I'm glad to have found a place for artisan work, and I thank everyone who reads this for their interest. If you would like to read more about my work or enjoy some poetry, please visit my art blog, http://visitingthemuse.blogspot.com/
