I am currently making art in my basement studio in Central New York. I primarily make things out of clay but have been known to step outside of that box and delve into other forms of creativity.
I throw on the wheel and handbuild. I make things for function and things that are not for function.
The pieces I create are one of a kind. I took full advantage of art school and went from painting and drawing to printmaking to ceramics. All of this training comes through in each and every piece that I make. I use a limited palette when decorating them. I use two clay bodies and two main glazes. the excitement usually rests on the decoration that is hand painted on them.
