I grew up in Oneida, NY but moved to Syracuse in 1983. I live in a suburb of Syracuse, Clay, now.I attended Syracuse University studying commercial design. I've been doing crafts for most of my life and did the craft table thing at local schools and churches for a few years. I've done just about every craft there is but my love is art in crafting. Crafts include scrapbooking, kitchen towels, paper twist dolls, etc. etc....... I can even do stained glass, learning from The Brennan studio (which also did the stained glass ceiling at Boldt Castle in Alexandria Bay in the Thousand Islands) But what I really enjoy is making jewelry. I started with beading (and still love this). Currently, I'm doing chainmaille which can include beading and countless ways to create new things. More of an art piece than repetitive things at a craft show.
