Lillian Mae Bridal
is named after my grandmother Lillian Mae Turner Goedeke. She taught me how to use a needle and thread when I was just six years old. I promptly made a pair of pants for my naked cupie doll.

‘Mama’ would yell from the other room, “slow down”, after teaching me to how to use a sewing machine at 8 years old. I haven’t slowed down since.

Later on, sewing supported my family as a single parent. Finally, after working in a cubicle for the state of Texas, I have returned to my first passion!

I love that I have been given the chance to design, create beautiful things, and make people happy all at the same time.

Materials
I strive to use quality materials for all of my designs. Often I will use vintage or unusual materials to create something truly one of a kind. Hot glue is rarely, if ever, used. Most of my items are created and/or sewn by hand.
