I have had a passion for making and creating forever, it's definitely a family trait, both grandmothers were hands on in their sewing rooms whilst my mother painted and made all our clothes until I took over, I was at the pfaff at age 3.

Now I am a designer and crafts person, who has a background in costume design for film and TV.

La Loon originated as a clothing boutique in St Kilda, in the 80s and became a shopper's haven for something out of the ordinary.

My studio is based in Melbourne, Australia, where I am inspired by my walks with my 'moodle' Della along the canal to the beach with it's ever changing scenery.

At the studio, I create wearable pieces of art from fabrics gleaned from myriad of unusual sources…
