My name is Sophia. I taught myself how to sew about 5 years ago; when my third child learned how to walk. I soon realized that i needed another creative outlet! I have always loved fashion - I designed my prom dress and my bridesmaids dresses, but I never took this interest seriously and just continued to enjoy shopping...a bit too much.
I grew up in New York and spent my youth walking the streets of the city, getting inspiration from store windows and the people I would pass.

When experimenting with different designs, I always find myself gravitating towards fabrics that tell a story: a whimsical print, a rich texture, wild colors. I am most comfortable in clean, simple lines and designs, but also like to make a statement with a crazy color or accessory ...I love shoes!!

I am most comfortable in clean, simple lines and designs, but also like to make a statement with a crazy color or accessory ...I love shoes!!

So after many trials, i have reworked a classic and essential piece in the modern women's wardrobe - the wrap skirt. I now wear them all the time! Linen in the summer, denim, wool or ultrasuede in the fall -- and i guess i still wear jeans when It's freezing.
