Hello!

l'm Laura and I started experimenting with polymer clay around eighteen years ago when l was still at school. I started of making small figures and then l decided to try jewellery as my pocket money didn't quite stretch to the fancy pendants l saw in shop windows. I began mixing colours and coming up with simple pieces tied around my neck with an old shoelace. I can happily say that my technique is more sophisticated than back then!

Polymer clay is a great medium to work with as it comes in bright, vibrant colours and doesn't need a kiln to fire it. l hope to continue broadening my techniques and using other mediums in the future.

My biggest influences are probably Tokyo street style and fifties technicolored films: They are bright and colorful and that is reflected in what l…
