Here's my story and I'm sticking to it....

My son, Nick, married Charity in May 2012. Charity has 2 sisters: Christian and Cassady. Christian is married to Randy and they have 2 children: Greer and Bo.
Now that you know the family dynamics I can tell you the tale...
Birthday Dinner...nice restaurant...lots of Charity's family was there.....
I asked Greer what she wanted SANTA to bring her. She immediately said, "Pink Sparkle Shoes!!" You should have seen the look on her mom and dad's faces! Greer had not TOLD them about wanting the shoes because she had "already told Santa." Smart for a 3 year old! Anyway...I assured Christian and Randy I could take on the project. Chirstian, however, continued to look for "pink glitter shoes" with no luck…

On Christmas Eve, I handed Greer a gift and told her that SANTA had asked me to give it to her. She gently opened the present. When she saw the shoes, her eyes got HUGE!! (She is usually very timid and a bit quiet so everyone was a bit amazed at her change in behavior. ) She ripped the shoes off her feet, put the "PINK SPARKLY SHOES" on and THEN began to dance in front of the Christmas Tree! The lights hit her shoes and bounced all over the walls! Greer kept dancing and turning her feet this way and that way. It was SO MUCH FUN to see her so excited! I'm not really sure how Kevin and I can "top" that gift this year.
Once you see such surprise and sheer JOY on a child's face, you want to share it with others. And that's how my glitter shoe store came to be.

Oh, and YES...Glitter is MUCH harder to clean up than Easter Grass!

And that's the END of the story...
