About

Once upon a time there was a little girl. She loved fairy stories, and fantasy tales, birds, butterflies and flowers, and she especially liked to draw and paint and dream. Sadly, the grown up people in her world didn't like dreamers and they told her every day to 'Wake up, stop dreaming, work hard, for life is a trial.'

And yet, still her dreams would not die. But she found that she could no longer draw and paint her dreams anymore, because she had become a 'grown up'.
So, one day she created Lavender George.
Lavender was all the things she had dreamed of being; she wore brightly coloured flowing dresses with bright red shoes, that matched her hair. She walked barefoot in the garden to feel the grass between her toes and sang to the birds and lifted her face to the sun and the rain.
But more importantly, she dreamed, and she drew and she painted. Beautiful, brightly coloured paintings of all her favourite things.
And then she sold them - because someone's got to pay the rent.
