Finding that spark, that inspiration to create... I've always been driven to "make something." It's mainly the *process* itself I enjoy most whether I'm wire wrapping a ring, or coming up with something a little different while ripping duct tape for a new wallet design. It's like therapy for me. I put a little bit of me in every thing I do. PS: That little bit of me is called love. My mom taught me to sew when I was 8 years old. I taught myself to crochet when I was 10. Self taught to quilt, embroider, & work plastic canvas in my 20s. My great-grandmother lived too far away to teach me those things but she was happy I learned on my own. I remember her hands were always busy whenever I was came to visit, crocheting an afghan, making a baby quilt, even enjoying ceramics until she passed away at age 96! You never get too old to learn... God gave each of us talent. I hope to always have the ability to create…

When I'm not crafting I'm hanging out with my two kids, who are very creative in there own right. Or, you can find me on a sand bar with my husband looking for agates (when he's not creating folk art). It's not so bad being 51. I am truly blessed.
