I'm a classically trained artist and received my BFA in photography in 1998 from the University of Michigan. I've been a professional photographer for over 12 years. I'm a classically trained artist and received my BFA in photography in 1998 from the University of Michigan. I've been a professional photographer for over 12 years. I shoot real estate, fashion, portraits, events, and I sells my fine art metallic prints at many metro Detroit stores and galleries. Creative, editorial portraiture and fashion are my favorite subjects as well as images of Detroit. My work has been featured on Vogue Italia, Styleline Magazine, Metropolitan D’etroit, Metro Times, Detroit News, and Verite Magazine. Designing jewelry started out with a 1950’s cash register I came across and took apart. I started putting antique machine parts together and learning metalwork as I went. I try to take recycling to a new level by first shooting fine art photographs of the machines (typewriters, cash registers, etc), taking them apart and making jewelry, then shooting models wearing her jewelry. The jewelry combines industrial pieces taken from vintage machines such as cash registers and typewriters with my own metalwork and delicate semi precious stones and swarovski crystals. The result is the perfect balance of industrial chic. I sell my jewelry at art fairs, in stores, including Project Runway’s Gordana Gehlhausen’s Santa Monica shop called GOGA, and online. It has been featured in the Ford Fiesta 2014 catalog and on Dateline when she made jewelry out of automobile parts for Channel 4’s Ashlee Baracy to wear to the North American International Auto Show’s Charity Preview. I have also appeared on Fox 2, Channel 7, Ovation Network, and in a commercial and on a billboard for The Village of Rochester Hills. I styled the 2014 Ford Fiesta catalog as well as shoots for Audi, Lincoln, and Ford.
