She is also a jewelry designer. Designing jewelry started out with a 1950’s cash register she came across and took apart. She started putting antique machine parts together and learning metalwork as she went. She takes recycling to a new level by first shooting fine art photographs of the machines (typewriters, cash registers, etc), taking them apart and making jewelry, then shooting models wearing the jewelry. Her jewelry combines industrial pieces taken from vintage machines such as cash registers and typewriters with her own metalwork and delicate semi precious stones and swarovski crystals. The result is the perfect balance of industrial chic.

I like to be constantly trying new and different things and pushing each medium to the limits. I am drawn to areas and objects that are either overlooked or considered ugly and I find it challenging to make them either beautiful or at least appreciated.
