Susan (Suki) Ciappara's Profile

About

I enjoy making art in many mediums and also facilitating art as a path to healing for others-which i do in my day job as an art teacher for teens with disabilities in an alternative school.I also see clients in my home art studio, and have a monthly shamanic art group, where we journey and do art.
I love making things from found objects in nature especially sea ephemera.
I also love anything that glitters, or has feathers or bright colors - I believe that color itself heals us all.
I went to school at Parson's, Art Student's league, and Fashion Institute of Technology, where I studied millinery design with Ann Albrizio and later got a BFA in Therapeutic and Fine Arts from Vermont College.
