My official career which lasted almost 25 years was in the adoption arena. I recruited and trained prospective adoptive and adoptive families for special needs children who were waiting to be adopted. As you can imagine, this was the most rewarding career that anyone could ask for. During this same time, I also became involved with buying and selling antiques and grew to have my merchandise in Antique Markets in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Due to a diagnosis of Heart Disease, I had to retire in 2000.
Since that time I have wanted to be back in the antique business but on a much smaller scale. However, when my health began to decline I had to give up on that notion, SO...being the determined woman that I am.....when my health permits, I go to estate sales and look for small items that have been cherished possessions of someone and through ETSY, I am able to offer those items so that they can be…
