Lindsey Barker's Profile
I grew up in rural North Carolina and moved to Raleigh to study architecture at NC State University. I graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2011, worked for a few years in the profession, and then moved to New York City to pursue a graduate degree in architecture at Columbia University. Now after much hard work and commitment to my education, I have began my career in the profession working for Gensler.
While I [greatly] enjoy the time I spend on architectural work, I also have a strong passion for hands-on making and experimentation - especially when it involves ''forgotten'' or recycled materials. As I travel and as I explore my own city, I find inspiration all around me. The things that I create are my attempt at sharing this inspiration, and an opportunity to release my love for craft!
