About

Hello, I have been a doll lover and crafter all my life. I can say I have collected just about everything and have almost tried every type of craft or art known.

This is my life. I have many loves including gardening, medical and computer science and too many others to list.

My last and final employment position was in a Hospital ER working in the triage area as a receptionist. It is the love of caring and giving of myyself and the love of medicine that brought me there. Now I am pretty much retired except for my work here and online and a small part time job to keep me busy.

I haunt thrift shops and yard sales and antiques and collectibles shops for the love of collecting.

I come from a long line of Canadian French Ancestors in East Hereford, and parts of Vermont and New Hampshire. My grandmothers maiden name was Bissonette. Which is as you can see the name I chose for my Etsy Shop.

My grandmother grew up on a farm in Canada. She learned and taught us many arts and crafts. She was someone who really knew how to "make do".. Often making quilts from our clothes and her aprons. My dad said once that she could make "a silk purse out of a sow's ear.." and he was so right.

I have taken after her in many ways af far as interests go. And we all miss her dearly. Thank you for looking at my shop and May God Bless You!
