I was born and raised in Bavaria, Southern Germany. Curious to explore other exciting parts of the big world, I left home at a young age, lived many years in Switzerland, Australia, Denmark, Peru and travelled extensively.
Painting always fascinated me. I could play with colors, create wild fantasies and release my many emotions. What inspires me ? Just being conscious of my surroundings and often seeing things with "fantasy" eyes.

In 1996, I started studying watercolor techniques, experimental/abstract and mixed media. Throughout the years I won awards, exhibited and sold my work in Germany and the United States. I also donated many paintings to the wonderful Hospice people in Erlangen/Germany and Ft. Lauderdale/Florida/US One of my paintings, showing a beautiful white swan on the water, opening his magnificent wings to fly away, is passed onto different rooms at the Hospice…
