Hi! I'm Amy! Thanks for having a looksie at my shop!! Here you will find unique, one of a kind baby blankets, burp cloths, bibs, hats, accessories and gifts for your cool little babe, tot or kiddo.

After months of trying to convince my husband to "quit my day job" I've been lucky enough to have the success to make LHS my full time career! I design at the kitchen table of my cozy Brooklyn apartment, and sew in my make-shift studio while my little boy naps in the other room.

LHS started as a little project to keep me busy during my pregnancy.

I wanted to create something unique for my son that reflected my style -- bright colors, fun, geometric patterns, organic and eco friendly materials, and most of all -- something no one else would have!! I put my Graphic Design degree to use and started designing my own fabrics, combining colors that would POP with the lime green crib my husband was building. In a few short months, I'd crafted an amazing little collection of hats, burp cloths and a patch-work playmat that I adored.

Eli was born in June 2011, with the biggest blue eyes I'd ever seen! As I'd take him out in the early fall, people were constantly asking me about the sweet little hats that I'd made for him -- and before I knew it, Little Hip Squeaks was more than just a project.

Take a look around, if you don't see something you can't live without, contact me and I'll make exactly what you want!
