About

Hey all! I'm Katie J. and I am absolutely in love with this shop. I have so, so much fun creating items for everyone. I spend more time on Live Laugh Scrap items than just-for-fun projects!

I started my scrapbooking journey in July/August of 2009. My sister had gotten married the previous December and after finishing the editing on her photos (the photographer did a horrible job with the quality of the photos, it was a nightmare to repair them all!) I decided to make a scrapbook for her. I had no idea what I was getting myself into! I had the best time making the layouts. It was a monster scrapbook that I finished in September of that year -- it had 44 detailed pages, weighed over six pounds (doesn't sound that heavy but trust me, for a scrapbook it is!), cost a few hundred dollars, and took more than 200 hours to complete. The good news is my sister loved it!…

Unfortunately after making a few poor life choices, I lost my "mojo," or passion for paper crafting. That lasted a year, but I am very happy to say I am back and loving it!

I spent three years studying graphic design in college at Indiana Wesleyan University. I still hold a great passion for digital creations! Since then I have studied Internet marketing and computer forensics. I am at a crossroads with my future career and trying to choose the right direction. I believe I will go for photography or web design. I can't wait to figure it out!
