About

I grew up in Bakersfield, California, where I learned that art is not always easily accessible. At a young age my mother taught me the basics of sewing and my dad gave me access to art supplies: block printing, potters wheel, paints and pencils. After moving to Portland, Oregon, I realized there really was no limit to the art a person can create. I began using what was around me to make bits of art to wear, hang on a wall, and play with. I brought this passion back to Bakersfield, where I try to spend the little free time I have making art.
