Colour and texture (in black and white) play an important role in Liz Garnett's work and inspiration is drawn from architecture, shapes and patterns. Her work is concerned with strong graphic composition. The majority of her fine art images are abstract or semi-abstract. Recently, themes have included beaches and the coast in both the UK and France as well as fruit and vegetables. She is currently focusing on creating vibrant flower images with a strong graphic content.

Liz is keen to experiment with photographic processes. Recent work includes emulsion lifts, use of infra-red films, black and white, cross processing, photo montage and images on hand-made paper. Choice of films and format (digital, 35mm, medium and large format) play an important role at the beginning of each new project. Flower Photographs - These are created through Liz's knowledge of expermenting with films and processes. Each one is part of a limited edition and different sizes are available on request. Each one is mounted.

Emulsion lift photographs - These are created by removing the top layer of a polaroid instant print and placed and manipulated onto watercolour paper. They are 11cm x 11cm and mounted to 20cm x 20cm.

Landscape photographs - These are all digital images printed onto Epson archival watercolour paper but can also be hand printed onto ilfochrome paper. Other sizes also available.

Fruit - These are film based images.

Abstracts - These are film based images created using Liz's knowlege of films and processes. Other sizes are also available including canvas prints.

Bags - These are made to order from my new flower portraits range. Other images from my collection can also be printed onto the bags.

Cards - These are small photographs mounted onto textured white card. They are all signed and include an envelope and wrapped in a celophane pocket. Discounts available for orders of 4+ cards - please ask for details.
