Lost my left leg 4" above knee in Dec 2000, and my world slowed down some, I fixed my roof, mowed my 1.2
acres, cut tree limbs, and took care of my place all by myself. Raised 2 daughters, and made most of
heir and my own clothes for years.. Then in 2010 I lost my right leg 4" above the knee, then my world
slowed down and nearly stopped except I LOVE sewing. I bought a 12" quilting Machine from my neice
after my sister was unable to continue sewing on it and started making quilts, pillowQuilts (Qillows).
I also embroidery dresser scarfs, crochet double thick pot holders and single thick pads to set hot
tems on sets.
am very thankful that I can still sew and make quilts. Everyone who sees and buys my quilts and etc
thinks I do a very good job of it. And I have never had a sewing lesson. I just think with lots of time
nd work that I can cut all my pieces by hand, then put them back together again and it turn out to be
eautiful. Like 8 point star with all the triangles, I sew then 3 times before I machine quilt them.
