As a kid I was always making things. I remember being very proud of a necklace I made from paper hole punches strung on a string. I started knitting seriously after college. After making a bunch of sweaters I moved on to mittens, gloves and scarves. Now I mostly just enjoy learning new techniques and expanding my knowledge - of knitting and almost any other craft.

I attended my first Indie craft show in 2005 and fell in love. I felt so connected to the artists and other attendees. As soon as I got home I started thinking about how I could participate. I remembered how much I like cutting paper, so I started making wallets, notepads and journals. Then I found a way to use my knitting and crocheting skills to make some fun things.
