It all started one day in a restaurant, I bought an assorted stone necklace from a girl named "Sunshine" over 20 yrs ago. I commented on her necklace and she sold it to me for 5 bucks. I was awed by the stones and crystals, I wanted more. I was a single young mother and very poor. I scraped money together to buy a few materials and made myself a couple of necklaces. I learned how to wrap crystals and stones to be used as pendants, which made it more exciting. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to make necklaces to sell so I could share this beauty, but had no outlet. I am terribly shy and "Sunshine" was nice enough to go with me to a local store to speak with the store owner about consignment. I began to learn there was more to these stones and crystals than just beauty. I stared learning about the healing properties and the metaphysical properties, which just intrigued me more. I bought books and did a great deal of reading.

After doing this for a couple of years while taking classes part time for a college degree, I became a paid apprentice to a jewelry maker. She paid me to complete necklaces, cut crystals, beading crystals and stones, I learned great things from her .

After several years, life became to demanding and my daughter was growing up and I strayed away from making jewelry. I started going to school full time and working full time. Much has happened since then. I feel there is usually a reason for everything and this is where life has led me. I have to believe in myself, believe in what I do and hopefully the rest will happen.

I like my necklaces to sparkle. I will usually pick out shiny stones and glass to work with.
