About

My love of clothes sparked when I was a wee little child of about 8, 9 or 10 when I received my first barbie doll. I was impressed by the clothes that she wore and the way it fitted her body and I wanted to be able to dress her in different clothes. I didn't want to spend too much money on buying her clothes so I had an idea. The idea was to instead make her an outfit and this was when my love for designing started. I started to make my own clothes when I was studying for my A level and I would make unique skirts and t shirts for myself and relished in the idea that none else I knew where wearing these. I knew then that I wanted to design and make clothes, the joy and enjoyment as well as the frustration and challenge it brought excited me and the best part was creating a finished item which brought a mixed feeling of success, satisfaction and accomplishment but I always had a feeling of inadequacy and doubt and fear of failing that would plague me and stop me from pursuing it further.
Fast forwarding to where I am now, having met my soulmate who inspired me to pursue my dreams to be a designer and creator, as well as a business women and other things, who drives me and helps me to know that nothing is impossible, that all it takes is hard work and dedication, a helping hand and a willing heart.
