Welcome to my shop.
Do you still long to receive a handwritten letter through the post? I do,
I love a handwritten letter or postcard. The skill of a beautifully handwritten word is fast becoming a lost art to e-mailing and texting. In order to keep to art alive, I create prints from a time when handwriting was the only communication between people. I silk screen print my fabric which is inspired by genuine vintage postcards, letters, diaries & stamps. Their wonderfully handwritten messages form the basis of my print designs and are hand made into contemporary fashion and interior accessories and stationary.

I work by myself and all tasks, from designing, printing, sewing, making, right through to posting and packaging are all carried out by myself in Lancashire, England. All products used to make my items such as fabric, printing supplies have been…

About

All products used to make my items such as fabric, printing supplies have been sourced here in England and I support my local Post Office to post my orders.

I graduating from The Surrey Institute of Art & Design (now the University for the Creative Arts (UCA)) in Farnham in 2002 with a 2:1 Ba (HONS) in Textiles where I specialised in screen printing. Having spent sometime working with printed textile designer Michele Oberdieck I knew that setting up my own studio was the way forward for me. So after a further year out living and working abroad, I returned to the UK in 2005 and set up lucie pritchard textile design and began screen printing for myself. Up until recently I worked from my part time studio space in Clerkenwell, London and home, but recently moved up to the North West of England.

I have had my work featured in various magazines including Grand Designs, Country Living, Country Homes and Interiors, House Beautiful and Living etc.
