About

Over the years of hand carving wood, I've developed a layer technique to create scenes with depth. Most of my pieces are of nature scenes, and have three layers: a background, middle and foreground. I use downed branches that I find. The roundness of the branches adds to the depth. I love seeing how the natural shades of the wood show up in my designs. Sometimes I'll accent part of the scene, such as a waterfall with some shellac.
