Becoming a mother set me on a constant search for comfortable and beautiful clothes for my daughter. After a few disappointing experiences at kids stores (what happened to all-cotton tights, for instance?), I decided that the best way to dress was and still is to make your own clothes or buy hand made. And, as motherhood rekindled my love for knitting, I got to work on those snow pants, then coat, then mitts, then hats, still working...

Garments started coming off my needles lightning fast - no time for reading patterns! I just make them up as i go.

I have discerning taste for materials - I believe in all natural fibers. After all, our skin is the body's largest sensory organ - why subject it to synthetics?

- Aren't natural fibers expensive? - you might ask. Sure, but in this throw-away culture we are spending just as much on cheap junk that we have to replace anyway! Where I come from they say "We are too poor to buy cheap goods!"

My focus is on combining Form and Function in a way that allows us to both experience easy comfort and turn stranger's heads on the streets. "I love that hat (coat, mitts, pants)!" - add those to your street noise!
