Lyn Foley's Profile

About

I am a full-time lampworker. I melt rods of glass onto prepared mandrels in order to make each bead. After the beads are made they are annealed (a process that adds strength and durability to the beads.)in a kiln for about 18 hours.

After annealing and cleaning the beads, I create jewelry with them.

I've been an artist all of my life, and together with my husband have been designing jewelry for more than 50 years! I discovered glass bead making in 2003, and haven't looked back. I use only my own glass beads in my work.
